Jamie Foxx – Winner ft. Justin Timberlake & T.I.

This track is HARD! after listening to this, ive been introduced to a new producer team called The Y’s. The group consists of James Fauntleroy (@fauntleroy), Rob Knox (@robknox4the_y_s) and Justin Timberlake (@jtimberlake). This beat is simple but what really makes their production stand out is the Depth and Detail, something i love doing on my productions as well. From their layered deep kicks and claps, simple rhythm piano, staggering synths, fun percussions and gritty brass with lifting melodies makes this track a Winner to me. Sure they might have the money to use expensive gear, great high quality samples and id do anything to produce with what they got, but besides that, it  really shows what happens when great artistic minds combine on a project. I should also mention their use of stereo imagery, not something unusual but something that really shows professionalism in what they do, making great music. here are some production and songwriting highlights from the people in The Y’s. Def Check them out!
